The Section 5 Games cannot happen without the support of volunteers from our community. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help create a fun, safe, and successful experience for players, families, referees, and spectators during the tournament on June 18–21.

Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or multiple days, every role makes a difference!

💧 Hydration Station Volunteer

Help keep players, referees, and volunteers hydrated throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

• Distribute water and sports drinks
• Restock hydration stations as needed
• Help maintain clean and organized areas
• Assist with keeping coolers and supplies filled

Great For:

• Friendly and organized volunteers
• Parents and community members
• Volunteers looking for a lower-activity role

🛠️ Set Up / Tear Down Crew

Help prepare fields and event spaces before games begin and assist with cleanup after activities conclude.

Responsibilities:

• Set up tents, signs, tables, goals, and equipment
• Assist with field preparation
• Help clean up and tear down event areas
• Load/unload supplies when needed

Great For:

• Volunteers comfortable with physical activity
• Team groups or older youth volunteers
• Early risers and dependable helpers

🔄 Sub Monitor

Assist teams and referees by helping maintain organized substitutions during games.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage substitution flow at midfield
• Ensure players enter/exit correctly
• Support referees with smooth game management
• Maintain player safety and organization

Great For:

•  Volunteers who enjoy being close to the action
• Individuals comfortable communicating with coaches and players
• Soccer parents or experienced volunteers

🟨 Field Marshal

Support a positive and respectful game-day environment around the fields.

Responsibilities:

• Help maintain sportsmanship and sideline behavior
• Assist with crowd control and field safety
• Serve as a point of contact for basic questions
• Support referees, coaches, and tournament staff as needed

Great For:

• Calm, professional communicators
• Volunteers comfortable interacting with families and spectators
• Individuals who want to help create a positive atmosphere

🎉 Soccerfest Volunteer

Help run fun activities and entertainment areas during the tournament.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with games, activities, and player engagement
• Help supervise event stations
• Encourage participation and excitement
• Support special activities and giveaways

Great For:

• Energetic and outgoing volunteers
• Teens and families
• Anyone who enjoys working with kids and creating fun experiences

🙌 General Volunteer

Flexible volunteers who help wherever needed throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

• Assist tournament staff with various tasks
• Help answer questions and direct families
• Fill in where support is needed most
• Support smooth event operations

Great For:

• First-time volunteers
• Flexible helpers
• Anyone wanting to support the event in any way possible
